How is Kilao Made?
Kilao is made from three kinds of dry fruits, so these dried fruits are given like pearls in a necklace with the help of a needle and thread. A string or garland of these dried fruits is made and then hung on a wooden rod like a flower garland under direct sunlight. Kilao is dried in sunlight. To make sure and keep it dry it is kept under a controlled environment in rainy weather. Kilao rests in direct sunlight for about a week. Once it is dry it is ready to buy and eat as a snack.
